What does it use to answer a question?

Only the sources you connected: your pages, uploaded files, pasted text and FAQs. It quotes from those, and when the answer is not in them it says so instead of guessing.

How many pages can it learn?

150 pages on Starter, 500 on Pro and 1,500 on Scale, spread over 3, 10 or 30 knowledge bases. Enterprise is set per contract.

What happens when I change a page on my site?

Re-index that source and the next answer uses the new text. Nothing is cached in a script you have to maintain, so an updated returns policy is live the moment the page is read again.
